Two-Day Skin Detoxing


Only one of us sisters has tried this, as it is a very intense detox that needs the will and strength to go on for 2 days without food. At the beginning you might suffer from acne breakouts along with slight dizziness, headaches and weakness. All are symptoms indicating your body is detoxifying and reacting as it thoroughly cleanses itself. Believe me it is worth it as it cleared my skin and even made me feel healthier inside out. Here is a schedule of the 2days skin detox. I advice you get all your needed ingredients before hand and to try it out in the weekend where you have nothing to do.

Day 1
8:00am: A glass of still mineral water at room temperature with half a squeezed lemon in it. Take 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil + 3 cloves of raw crushed garlic.
8:30am: Skin brushing followed by a warm bath
9:00am: Apple and carrot juice (good alternative: wheatgrass juice)
9:30am: A glass of filtered or mineral water + daily detox tea
10:00am: Handful of raisins
10:30am: A glass of filtered or mineral water
11:00am: Handful of walnuts
11:30am: A glass of filtered or mineral water + daily detox tea
12:00pm: Low-sugar vegetable soup
12:30pm: A glass of filtered or mineral water
1:00pm: One apple and one cucumber
1:30pm: A glass of filtered or mineral water + daily detox tea
2:00pm: Handful of grapes
2:30pm: A glass of filtered or mineral water
3:00pm: 5 Brazil nuts
3:30pm: A glass of filtered or mineral water + daily detox tea
4:00pm: Handful of grapes
5:00pm: A glass of filtered or mineral water
6:00pm: Low-sugar vegetable salad
7:00pm: A glass of filtered or mineral water
8:00pm: Meditate. Drink a glass of filtered or mineral water + daily detox tea.
9:00: A glass of filtered or mineral water
10:00: A glass of filtered or mineral water + half a lemon squeezed in it
11:00pm: Sleep

Day 2

13:00pm: A glass of filtered or mineral water
13:30pm: Handful of raisins
2:00pm: A glass of filtered or mineral water + daily detox tea
2:30pm: Handful of walnuts
3:00pm: A glass of filtered or mineral water
3:30pm: Two green peppers
4:00pm: A glass of filtered or mineral water + daily detox tea
5:00pm: Handful of pumpkin seeds
6:00pm: A glass of filtered or mineral water
7:00pm: Tomato soup
8:00pm: A glass of filtered or mineral water + daily detox tea
9:00pm: Meditate
10:00pm: Take an Epsom Salts bath followed by a clay mask. Drink a glass of filtered or mineral water + half a lemon squeezed in it.
11:00pm: Sleep
