Guest Post | Mesothelioma Cancer

About a week ago I received an email from Jackie Clark who said she raises awareness for Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance, a leading web resource for mesothelioma cancer. Being inspired by her, I would like to share with you guys her blog article as a guest post on my blog. “…All women need to feel beautiful, no matter what circumstances they may be facing. Women are powerful beings and WE need to realize it! Sadly, many women are hearing those devastating words 'you have cancer.' Despite a cancer diagnosis, women can still feel beautiful in their own skin. Fashion is a wonderful way to feel strong and confident”. I strongly agree with her and believe that no matter what type of cancer a person is diagnosed with they should always feel beautiful inside and out because they are! Here’s her article below, and I hope she inspires you in the same way that I have been inspired…so help her raise awareness. Thank you Jackie for sharing this with us!

So as a young lady in the prime of her life, you have been diagnosed with cancer, such as skin or mesothelioma. You consider yourself the worse for it, right? Well, that is not the case. Being diagnosed with cancer in the prime of your age does not demean you in any way and it does not lessen your self-worth in the society, or even minimize your ability to make it big in any way. Indeed, there is a way you can turn your condition around and use it as a stimulus to galvanize yourself into being all you have ever dreamed of, and becoming what no one in your similar condition has ever become. After all due medical attention, you can still deal with your skin condition with natural and medical make-ups that transform you into something of a beauty in terms of self-confidence, carriage and beauty.

Regardless of debilitating skin conditions, all women are created beautiful, and beauty is the greatest asset that any young woman of your age can have. It must not be lost. Don’t let medical diagnosis compromise your self-esteem. Beauty, some might say, is in the eyes of the beholder; this is not entirely true, beauty is a skin-deep feeling of confidence that reveals itself in the way you carry yourself and carry on in society. Beauty is the way you fight discouragements and valiantly stand to defend your innocence in the silent strength of grace. Your beauty is revealed, and must be enhanced, by your inner strength to stand shoulder-to-shoulder, face-to-face, with any event that threatens to compromise your womanhood and the delicateness that goes with it. Sustained self-confidence enhances your inner beauty, and the way you carry yourself in the face of unpleasant circumstances validates your worth as a young woman full of life and great aspirations.

There is no debating the fact that cancer and the side effects of treatments can be very visible and shattering, but these could be minimized with the use of organic make-ups that conceal the effects of your skin condition. In spite of your need to wear make-ups and other skin coloration materials, it is very important that you embrace yourself in the face of your condition and be glamorous. Yes, be glamorous and radiate warmth and vitality as you apply your skin treatment and beauty make-ups. In wearing make-ups because of your skin cancer diagnosis condition, you might want to pay attention to some little ideas that would help you along: Use blush and lipstick and spray tans to add some little color to areas of your body that need some pigmentation. Do not overdo this, and be sure that the spray tans enhances your natural skin color and accentuates your natural complexion without necessarily being too heavy or thick on the eyes.

You are beautiful and must remain beautiful in your present skin condition. It does not matter if you have been diagnosed with mesothelioma cancer or even suffering from asbestos exposure, because you will just be fine. There are qualified mesothelioma doctors that would proficiently carry out mesothelioma prognosis on you before commencing on the best mesothelioma treatment for your condition. You might have to undergo treatments like skin surgery, chemotherapy and some other radiation therapies, but you will be just fine because your revitalized self-esteem in the face of your natural make-ups would do the trick of making you the pretty young girl you have always wanted to be. Skin cancer or not, be happy and confident in your beauty; use make-ups to boost your ego, and you will soon become the toast of your neighborhood and magazine cover-pages.
