Natural Remedy | Eyes

Sometimes we feel as if some products out there really don’t help with our puffiness and dark circles. Some products are just clearly false advertising and take far too long to work, oh and
not forgetting how expensive they can be! Where as with natural remedies you see an instant change and it’s safe. Therefore, we have tried and approve of these home remedies.
1) Everyone knows the wonders cucumber slices do for your eyes because they contain vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and caffeic acid both of which help swelling. All you need to do is cut ½ inch slices of cold cucumber and place on each eye make sure you relax for 10- 15 minutes, then remove and rinse face with cool water.
2) Everyone should know how important chamomile is for you. It is a natural anti-inflammatory that helps ease redness and puffiness around the eyes. Green and black tea bags contain tannins, which shrink swollen tissue, and caffeine, which constricts blood vessels to reduce swelling. All you need to do is: straight after using two tea bags of your preference, you need to place it in your refrigerator until it is cooled down. Then place one bag over each eye and relax for 15 minutes. And voila!
3) Weirdly enough cold metal spoons also constrict blood vessels! So just place two spoons in ice water and when cooled place one on each eye until swelling is reduced.
4) Another natural home remedy for eyes is cold milk. Yes we said milk! The cold milk not only reduces swelling but also the fat in whole milk helps soothe dry and irritated skin. Make sure to place two cotton balls into cold milk then squeeze and place one on each eye for 10-15 minutes.
5) Last but not least is egg whites, you guys are probably thinking how weird this list is getting but trust us it works! So egg whites act as an astringent, tightening and smoothing skin. They also improve circulation because they contain vitamin B2. Beat the egg whites and apply to your under-eye. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes then rinse off with water.
