Healthy Snack | Lemon Juice

We love making and drinking lemon juice almost everyday. Due to the fact that drinking lemon juice has many benefits, including the prevention and curing of various disorders, diseases, viruses and beauty aids.

Lemonate Ingredients: 

1 3/4 lemon juice
1 1/2 lime juice 
3 to 4 cups cold water 
1 cup sugar (can reduce to 3/4 cup)
1 cup water 

Make simple syrup by heating the sugar and water in a small saucepan until the sugar is dissolved completely. While the sugar is dissolving, use a juicer to extract the juice from 4 to 6 lemons, enough for one cup of juice. Add the juice and the sugar water to a pitcher. Add 3 to 4 cups of cold water, more or less to the desired strength. Refrigerate 30 to 40 minutes. If the lemonade is a little sweet for your taste, add a little more straight lemon juice to it. Serve with ice and sliced lemons.

Oral Diseases: Due to lemon juice's high content of vitamin C, it helps strengthen your gums and teeth. It is also very effective for preventing and curing acute inflammations.  
Throat Disorders: Lemons are highly beneficial in the treatment of throat disorders, colds and fevers. Take fresh lemon and one teaspoonful of honey and hot water once every hour. It should be sipped slowly.  
Digestive Problems: Lemon juice stimulates the flow of saliva and gastric juice and is regarded as an excellent digestive agent. It destroys intestinal worms and eliminates the gases formed in the digestive tract. It is highly beneficial in the treatment of several digestive problems. Drinking fresh lemon juice with water easily relieves heartburn.  
Foot Relaxation: A wonderful way to comfort your sore feet is to soak them in hot water, and then rub them with fresh lemon juice. The benefit here is in the contrasting actions of the hot water, which opens the pores and the lemon juice which presents a cooling, astringent action. This treatment is also said to promote healthy sleep, owing to its relaxing action on the foot nerves. 
Hair: Strained fresh lemon juice mixed with cool water can be used to wash your hair for a little added brightness.
